The late Tony Wilson has finally got the memorial he deserves, according to The Guardian.

The Factory Records boss died in 2007.  This week a Peter Saville/Ben Kelly designed headstone was erected at his graveside in Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, Manchester.

The business card like ‘monolith’ features the inscription ‘Anthony H. Wilson – Broadcaster, Cultural Catalyst’.  The Guardian has described it as ‘unashamedly pretentious’.

The headstone does not have a Factory catalogue number, unlike Wilson’s coffin – FAC501.
