Primavera Sound 2011

Ok, so the daily photo blog idea didn’t really work out – laziness, non-functioning wi-fi, intoxication. Instead, I’ve put together a collection of the best snaps from across the weekend, with the help of good friend and photographer Panos Lyris (he’s the guy ‘looking to the future’).  Find out more about him here.

Highlight of the weekend? Caribou…twice, followed closely by The Fiery Furnaces, The National and Blondes at the Apolo on Sunday night.  Low points?  An overly complicated drinks ordering system which failed when the festival’s i-pads didn’t turn-up, a spectactularly lacklustre set by The Walkmen and the sound at PJ Harvey (San Miguel stage, Saturday). 8/10
